Big news! After Valencia CF’s defeat against Las Palmas, Hugo Duro shocks the fans by making huge announcement.

Thousands of Valencia fans protested against owner Peter Lim and the alleged detention of two fans in Lim’s home country, Singapore, before and after their 3-2 defeat to Las Palmas in LaLiga on Monday.

Dani Cuesta and his wife were arrested in Singapore almost three weeks ago after Cuesta allegedly raised anti-Lim posters.

Valencia fans have been protesting Lim’s management of their club for years.

The millionaire businessman bought Valencia in 2014, but fans have become angry over what they consider his absent ownership, and thousands protested outside the Mestalla Stadium before the match.

Thousands more returned after a defeat that left Valencia at the bottom of La Liga with only one win in 10 matches.

The match started well for the home team with Pepelu putting Valencia ahead from the penalty spot after 14 minutes.

But Alex Muñoz equalized for Las Palmas three minutes before halftime, and the Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee, Fábio Silva, made it 2-1 in favor seven minutes after the start of the second half.

Pepelu was sent off for an off-the-ball incident after 69 minutes, and Alberto Moleiro added a third goal for Las Palmas shortly after.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis received a five-match stadium ban for “improper conduct” after being found guilty of spitting at referee Josh Smith’s feet in the tunnel following their defeat to Fulham.

Marinakis denied the FA’s accusation at his hearing, but was sanctioned with a suspension on October 18, with the full written ruling published on October 22. Forest appealed Marinakis’ suspension, but he was absent in their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday at the City Ground.
